BankEasy On-Line
All SBT checking account customers can view their account activity online at www.sbtcompany.com. Customers can view cleared transactions, transfer funds between accounts, pay bills and re-order checks through BankEasy Online.
BankEasy By Phone
Checking account customers also can check balances and cleared transactions, transfer funds, check rates, and confirm deposits or withdrawals by phone at (319) 352-5500 or (888) 367-5500.
Safety Check Overdraft Protection
Customers who qualify may receive a Safety Check Overdraft Protection line of credit. If a customer is approved, an unsecured line of credit will be available to cover checks or other withdrawals on the checking account, preventing the account from becoming overdrawn.
When a check or other withdrawal is applied to an account which would result in an overdraft, a loan is automatically deposited in your account in increments of $100.00 to prevent the overdraft. Any time a Safety Check advance is credited to an account, a notice is sent to the customer informing him/her of the amount of the advance. Once the advance has been created, payments must be made to pay it off. It will not be paid automatically when the next deposit is made. If no other payments are made, a minimum payment of $15.00 or 5 percent of your loan balance will be taken out of your account automatically 14 days after your statement cycle ends for the month (payment amount applied first to accrued interest with balance of payment applied to loan principal balance).
An annual fee of $15 is charged on April 1 for this service.
Free Deluxe® personalized checks
All Free and Interest Checking customers will receive 50 free personalized Deluxe® checks when they open an SBT checking account. Heritage Club members will receive up to two boxes of Deluxe® “Specialty Gray” checks free per year. If Heritage Checking customers wish to order another check style, they will receive a $3.00 per box discount.
Health Savings Accounts
Health Savings Accounts are now available at State Bank & Trust Company! We offer debit cards and specially designed HSA check packages. Eligible individuals can carry over their HSA balances from year-to-year, pay qualified medical expenses with pretax dollars, and earnings grow tax deferred. BankEasy Archive
Checking account customers may receive all their account statements and imaged checks on CD-ROM for easy searching, storage and printing. BankEasy Archive CDs are available for $5.00 per month, $10.00 per quarter or semi-annual, and $20.00 per year.
No Transaction Fees at any Privileged Status ATM
State Bank & Trust customers will never pay ATM transaction fees at any ATM in the Privileged Status network across the Midwest. For a listing of Privileged Status ATMs, contact your local SBT office or visit www.sbtcompany.com to find the location of a Privileged Status ATM near you.
